Galician Literature Day 2009

The "Día das Letras Galegas" or The Galician Literature Day is a holiday in Galicia. This year, the Festival is dedicated to Ramón Piñeiro, one of the historic figures of Galician Nationalism in the 20th century.

Ramón Piñeiro described our "saudade" as a feeling with no object and no relation to thought or will.
He was one of the founders and first managers of the Galaxia Publishing House and Grial magazine.
